Born on July 29, 2000, in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico, Alanis Nicole Flores Vázquez developed an interest in the arts. During her middle school years, her grandfather introduced her to the world of photography, and from then on her career began. It wasn't until she was 15 years old that she picked up her first camera and it was there that she realized that this is what she would do for the rest of his life. This led her to continue her studies at the Universidad del Sagrado Corazón doing a Bachelor's Degree in Communication Arts with a concentration in Photography and minor studies in Marketing.
In addition to photography, Alanis showed a great interest in sports. She had the opportunity to participate in various teams growing up where she obtained qualities such as resilience, leadership, and respect. She also learned lessons that helped her shape the person she is today.
During her college years, she spent most of her time looking for opportunities that would help her expand her knowledge of photography. She experimented with various photography styles that eventually helped her define her own. She began gaining experience with local brands and sports teams in exchange for merchandise and exposure. This opened new doors for her as her work progressed.
Her resilience and hard work have led her to join Deportes Sagrado and advertising agencies such as Be Public and Sonflower Studio as a photographer. Through all of these experiences, she found her true calling in sports and commercial photography. She defines her work as clean and minimalistic with the intention of drawing the attention of viewers. She aspires to combine her love for sports and commercial photography to offer her best work for a Major League or NCAA team in the near future.
